One Platform. Every Question an Organisation Asks of Its Data.
PRISM Analytics is an operational-intelligence suite for organisations that must answer hard questions about people, places, assets and relationships — correctly, quickly and accountably.
What PRISM is
PRISM Analytics is a suite of modules that share one data layer, one identity layer and one way of working. An analyst starts from a question — a person, an address, a vehicle, a company, a pattern — and moves through search, relationships, maps and reports without leaving the platform or re-entering the question. Every answer carries its sources, every export is recorded, and every decision about who may see what is enforced in one place.
PRISM was built in production, not in a lab. Since 2011 Cloud Explorers has ingested, cleaned and connected national-scale registers and commercial datasets for customers for whom a wrong answer has legal consequences. The platform is the accumulated result of that work.
How the modules fit together
PRISM Scope
Search, filter and build cohorts across every dataset in the platform — from a single record to a population.
PRISM Graph
Follow relationships — residence, family, ownership, roles, vehicles, addresses — across time, as a graph the analyst can explore.
PRISM Spatial
Put every record on the map: addresses, movements, boundaries, points of interest, with the same filters as everywhere else.
PRISM Sentinel
Customer-held watch-lists and chat extracts, evaluated continuously against the graph — notifications, not reports; on-premises only.
PRISM Sight
Dashboards, charts and reports built on live queries, for the analyst and for the people they report to.
PRISM Connect
Bring your own data — registers, feeds, case lists — through governed, repeatable pipelines with validation and certification at every step.
PRISM Exchange
Take results out: governed exports and APIs into the systems your organisation already runs.
PRISM Identity
Your directory decides who; PRISM decides what. Federated login, provisioning, roles and organisation-level policy.
PRISM Intelligence
Assisted analysis under human control — proposals the analyst verifies, never conclusions the analyst inherits.
Built for accountable environments
PRISM is used where the data is sensitive and the use of it is regulated. Three principles follow from that and run through every module:
- Traceability. Every record shows where it came from and when. Every export is registered against the case it was made for, with a stated purpose, and can be found again by the people responsible for oversight.
- Separation. Data from different sources and different customers is kept apart by design — never joined, never used to enrich one another — unless the customer has the legal basis to combine them and chooses to.
- Human in the loop. Automation proposes; people decide. Where PRISM surfaces a pattern, it shows the evidence and the rule that produced it, and the analyst's decision is recorded alongside it.
Deployment models
- SaaS, operated by Cloud Explorers — the standard model for commercial customers.
- Managed cloud with a partner — the platform and its data feeds operated in a dedicated environment for a customer or a sector, with Cloud Explorers responsible for the software and the data pipeline.
- On-premises — the full platform, including the daily data pipeline, its status reporting and its alerting, installed and operated inside the customer's own perimeter, with identity federated to the customer's directory.
All three run the same software; the difference is where it runs and who holds the keys.
Who it is for
PRISM is in use across the sectors we have served for fifteen years. Law enforcement and public safety — investigation across person, address, vehicle and company networks. Business information and credit — the company universe, risk and compliance. Finance — banking and insurance prospecting, national campaigns run locally. Energy — prospecting and customer retention. Publishing — subscriptions, churn and recruitment. Retail — B2B campaigns, store catchments and site analysis. Market research — survey hubs and trends over time. Property — smart buildings and centre management. The automotive industry — prospecting and market analysis. Charities — donor insight and CRM. CRM and loyalty — segmentation and client enrichment. Logistics — delivery logistics and prospecting. Marketing and analytics — direct-mail selection and planning.
What they have in common: work that depends on knowing, with confidence, who is connected to what — and being able to show how it is known. See Customer cases for how each sector uses PRISM.
